UAEU admits students to the university after assessing their present academic qualifications and the instructional capabilities of the academic programs. Admissions to the university are based on the admission policy which is issued annually and sets forth the specific criteria for each of the following categories:

• United Arab Emirates Citizens and Children of National Mothers
• Arab Countries Seats
• Asian and African Countries Seats
• Children of UAEU Faculty and Staff
• Old High School Certificate
• International students
